A forward-thinking secondary school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming school in Sunderland. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that align with the national curriculum.
* Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
* Assess, track, and support student progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse needs.
* Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Take part in ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development.
* Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities.
What We re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards completion of teacher training.
* Subject specialism in any core or foundation subject at secondary level.
* A genuine passion for education and inspiring young people.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Commitment to professional growth and collaboration with colleagues.
* A valid, enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
