Connect2Socialwork is on the lookout for a CQC Registered Manger in Bath for residential care home catering for older age residents living with dementia and some complex dementia. As a Registered Manager, you will be supported by 2 Deputies and Senior Support Workers.
This is 6 month contract and you will be required to be based on site at the home. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the home, including the management of 60-70 staff and 2 Deputies as well as clinical staff.
REQUIREMENTS
1. A minimum of two years supervisory or management experience in care or support work, including staff supervision and appraisal and either experience of full responsibility for managing a budget, or experience of budget management with supervision.
2. Good working knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care agenda/Inspection and CQC Regulation processes in relation to monitoring residential / nursing Homes.
3. Knowledge of applying care governance and care management to operational policy
4. Negotiation skills and an understanding of and commitment to quality assurance, including customer feedback.
5. Evidence of mentoring/management and leadership skills within the performance and care governance framework. Ability in using audit to improve quality of care.
