We are seeking a Teacher of Mathematics to join our team at The Matthew Arnold School, part of Bourne Education Trust.
Our teachers are responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class, ensuring equity of opportunity for all, and upholding the highest standards in work and conduct. All teachers are required to carry out the professional duties and responsibilities of a school teacher as defined by the Teachers’ Standards and the current School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document.

Position: Teacher - Mathematics Specialist
Contract: Full time, permanent
Start Date: 1 January 2026
Salary: Teachers Main to Upper Pay Scale (Fringe: £34,398 - £46,839)

Key responsibilities
* Deliver the curriculum relevant to the age and ability of the pupils you teach; prepare and develop teaching materials and pastoral arrangements as appropriate
* Be accountable for attainment, progress and outcomes of all pupils in your class/es; plan effectively to enable pupils to reach their potential
* Be aware of pupils’ capabilities and plan to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs; lead SEN Support where appropriate
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
