We are operational all year round, and shifts cover daytimes, weekends, and bank holidays. Your contractual working week is an average 37.5 hours per week with a rolling rota (approximately 10 weeks in advance). Evening shifts range from 5pm to 1am. Flexibility is key, with the possibility to start earlier or finish later as required.
Responsibilities
* Visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment, working alone or with a Monitoring Support Officer
* Build trust with individuals and reassure them of their safety and the safety of the public
* Help reduce pressure on the prison system and support ex-prisoners to reintegrate into the community
* Receive 3 weeks of training and be supported by an experienced Officer/Mentor on the road until you’re comfortable in the role

What you need to do the job
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds. You’ll learn what you need during the 2-week initial training and through shadowing and mentorship. You must have a current valid UK driver’s license, be reasonably fit, and have good written and verbal communication skills essential for building relationships with the individuals you meet.
