Location: Stoke-on-Trent
We are recruiting for a Lead Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to complete both hands‑on maintenance and lead/supervisor electrical works. The role will involve the oversight of electricians and sub‑contractors and a large scale facility in the Stoke-on‑Trent area. Paying up to £46,000 Mon‑Fri. Various working times available (8am‑4pm, 7am‑3pm, 6am‑2pm). On call rota and on call payment.
Electrician Description
* To lead on electrical works within the facility both in‑house and sub‑contractors
* To provide Electrical H&S and compliance engineering on each facility
* To lead on electrical projects and to assess all electrical plans and installations plus completed work
* To ensure that all critical PPM's are carried out on site and carry out reactive work at the request of the end user, ensuring that this is in line with SLA's
* To lead sub-contractors and ensure H&S, RAMS and H&S documentation are correct
* To provide electrical guidance and advice to FM's and site management
* The will also involve hands‑on duties on both maintenance and minor installations.
Skills & Background Required
* Recognised professional apprenticeship or equivalent Electrical training
* NVQ Level 3 Grade
* 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
* AM2
* ideally 2391 test and inspection
* Experience of lead and supervisory roles
* Must be presentable and reliable
* Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
