Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Client Manager – B2B Business Development to join our growing Electrical Services Division, focused on driving new business in the commercial and industrial sectors.
This division specializes in electrical call-out services, including inspections, testing, commissioning, and ongoing electrical maintenance. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, opening doors, and winning work across various commercial buildings and facilities.
The role is initially 90% focused on new business, with strong support from a technical manager for quoting and service delivery. As your client base expands, the role will evolve into more of a client/account management position, nurturing relationships, cross-selling services, and maximizing account value — all while continuing to generate new business.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and secure new B2B opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors.
* Promote core electrical services including call-outs, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
* Research and qualify prospects using LinkedIn, B2B platforms, Salesforce, and direct outreach.
* Book and attend meetings and site visits throughout the North West region.
* Work closely with technical leads to prepare tailored proposals and quotations.
* Transition into account management as clients onboard, providing consistent service and support.
* Cross-sell additional services and solutions to existing clients.
* Track sales activity and provide regular performance updates to the Contracts Manager.
Requirements
* 2–3+ years of experience in B2B business development or sales.
* Confidence in generating leads, securing meetings, and converting opportunities.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
* Experience selling electrical services or within the M&E industry is preferred but not essential — full training and support will be provided.
