The Health Department delivers a diverse range of health-related courses, supporting learners in developing the knowledge and practical skills required for future careers in the sector.
Responsibilities
* Support learners in securing meaningful and high-quality work placements that enhance their educational experience.
* Conduct thorough due diligence checks, including safeguarding requirements such as DBS verification where appropriate, to ensure all placements meet required standards.
* Carry out placement visits to monitor learner progress, ensure compliance, and maintain high-quality learning experiences.
* Build and maintain strong, professional partnerships with healthcare employers and organisations to support sustainable placement opportunities.
Qualifications
* Dedicated and proactive individual with a genuine passion for supporting Health and Social Care learners.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
* Calm and flexible approach.
* Strong commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for students.
Safeguarding
* Post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
* DBS checks as part of pre‑employment procedures for all potential employees.
