Leggwork are working with a well-established and growing Surveying & Geospatial specialist delivering high-quality survey services across civil engineering, infrastructure and utilities sectors throughout the UK.
Due to continued project demand, they are looking to recruit a Topographical Surveyor to support ongoing works across Yorkshire and the North of England. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive company delivering survey solutions across a range of infrastructure and development projects.
Summary
* Conduct topographical surveys using Total Stations and GPS equipment
* Work on infrastructure and development projects across Yorkshire
* Company van, specialist equipment and career progression provided
Responsibilities
* Carry out Topographical surveys in line with project specifications and client requirements
* Operate survey equipment including Total Stations and GPS systems to collect accurate site data
* Process and record survey information, ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables
* Work both independently and as part of a survey team on infrastructure and development projects
* Identify and report site issues, anomalies or variations during survey operations
* Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance on site
* Ensure all survey outputs are delivered within required project timelines
Requirements
* Proven experience undertaking Topographical surveys
* Competent using Total Stations, GPS equipment and survey data collection systems
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
* Ability to manage workload independently while working collaboratively with teams
* Understanding of health and safety requirements on construction or infrastructure sites
* Full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided)
Desirable Experience
* Surveying qualification such as QCF, TSA or degree in Surveying or Geospatial disciplines
* Experience working within civil engineering, construction, utilities or infrastructure projects
