As Reach Subsea continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Project Engineer to strengthen our high-performing engineering team. In this role, you'll apply your technical expertise to reinforce robust engineering practices, supporting the team throughout project execution - from tendering through to offshore operations.
As a Senior Project Engineer at Reach Subsea, you'll be empowered to grow your own capabilities while enabling others to do the same. * Write method statements, task plans, procedures, and other documentation as required by the workscope, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with project standards
* Support and mentor Project Engineers, providing guidance on both professional development and workscope-related challenges to build capability and confidence across the team
* Identify and take responsibility for any engineering services required- in-house or third party- to successfully deliver the workscope
* Engage with and identify improvements to the engineering process, contributing to the development of standard practices and promoting consistency across projects
* Ensure that lessons learned are captured continuously and integrated into future planning and execution
* Provide commercial awareness of engineering products and services to tenders and projects, supporting informed decision-making and value-driven delivery
* Identify and pursue opportunities to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness within the workscope, balancing innovation with operational reliability
* Collaborate with the Project Manager, Offshore Manager, and Shift Supervisors, sharing insights gained during planning and execution to enhance team performance and project outcomes
Key Qualifications
* BSc or higher degree within Subsea/Mechanical/Marine/Naval Engineering or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and/or education/training
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within subsea, ROV, etc., particularly with tendering and executing projects using new ROV tooling
* Offshore safety training (UK and Norwegian) and approved medical certificate are beneficial

Experience And Knowledge
Specific knowledge of engineering & HSE standards and legislation, demonstrated knowledge of offshore operations and subsea engineering. Demonstrated decommissioning experience is an advantage. Knowledge within ROV related subsea projects is beneficial.
