Role Overview
We’re looking for a Workforce Planning Analyst to join the Workforce Planning Team, supporting strategic and operational workforce planning across NHS Tayside and the wider Health and Social Care partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality workforce information and insight to inform decision‑making at service, partnership and strategic levels.
* Work closely with HR, service leads, planners and senior managers to ensure workforce data is accurate, meaningful and accessible.
* Support workforce planning analysis and reporting to enable effective resource allocation and service sustainability.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Degree level education (or equivalent experience) with strong analytical ability and experience working with large datasets.
* Proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
* Strong communication skills – able to present information clearly and effectively.
* Desirable experience: workforce, HR or public sector data; however, strong analytical candidates looking to develop a career in workforce planning are welcomed.
