In this role, you will lead the development of state-of-the-art digital twins and robotic simulations that drive the clean energy transition. As a key team member, you will design, develop, and optimize products and tools for internal customers, supporting data analysis and autonomous robotics deployment in the offshore energy industry. You will work closely with the product team, cross-functional engineering teams, and various stakeholders throughout the entire product lifecycle. Your responsibilities will encompass high-level software development, architectural design, and adherence to rigorous quality standards using Modern C++ and Unreal Engine. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Robotics, Software Engineering, and Machine Learning to translate novel ideas into tangible products. If you're passionate about robotics and simulation, love solving complex technical challenges, and want to mentor others while growing your own expertise, this role offers the perfect blend of technical depth and meaningful impact.# **What you can expect*** Implement sophisticated features and functionalities that accurately represent real-world subsea environments and robotic operations.* Write and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable code using Modern C++ and CI/CD practices within the Unreal Engine framework.* Conduct technical reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high standards.* Work closely with the product team to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.* Drive the development roadmap from design through to implementation, testing, and deployment.* Drive development of simulation solutions and frameworks that can be applied across multiple projects, driving reuse and consistency.* Provide technical leadership and coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams (robotics and ML) to integrate and align various components and systems.* Foster collaboration and knowledge exchange across project teams and business units, strengthening alignment and shared expertise.* Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.# **What you bring**You’ll thrive at Rosenxt if you are creative, self-reliant and collaborative and want to help the team do its best work.**Essential Skills:*** Proficiency in Unreal Engine C++ systems development, such as plugins/modules, multi-threading, physics interactions, third-party library integrations* Strong understanding of 3D mathematics.* Proficiency in C++ (17 onwards) and Python.* Understanding of Docker and containerisation.* Experience optimizing simulation performance for scalability and efficiency.* Strong understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and scalable coding practices.* Proven ability to lead teams, mentor junior engineers, and maintain high standards of code quality.* Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.**Desirable Skills:*** A background in robotics and autonomous systems.* Experience in simulating sensors, actuators, and physics.* Experience in Games Development or Real-time systems* Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.* Experience creating internal Unreal Editor tooling.* Prior experience with robotics simulators such as NVidia Isaac or Gazebo.* Familiarity with Linux.* Performance analyses and benchmarking.* Familiarity with 3D modelling software (e.g. Blender, Maya, 3DMax).* Software in the loop & Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing.* Working with 3D and Video data, including mesh and point clouds.* Deploying large scale systems in the cloud.# **Look forward to*** Development opportunities and career opportunities in a global, innovative and long-term oriented group of companies with family character* Funded career and learning development opportunities.* Flexible, hybrid working.* 30 days annual leave + bank holidays.* Company pension scheme where all employees receive a standard 10% employer contribution, with no obligation for employee contributions.* Company sponsored life insurance and private medical insurance.* Cycle scheme provided by Green Cycle Initiative.* Competitive remuneration packageMore information about the Rosenxt Group please click here:**Rosenxt** is a forward-thinking technology group — we are visionary architects of progress with decades of engineering excellence.
