Agricultural Maintenance Location: Corby Salary: From £17.00 per hour (circa £37,000 per year based on 42 hours) Overtime Job Type: Full-time | Permanent Barker Ross is recruiting for a hands-on Agricultural Maintenance role within a well-established and growing agricultural equipment business based in Corby. This position is ideal for someone with farm-based experience or a background in agricultural machinery, mechanical repairs, plant fitting, irrigation systems, or general farm maintenance. We welcome applicants who have worked as Farm Workers with machinery experience, Farm Mechanics, Machinery Fitters, Agricultural Engineers, Irrigation Engineers, or Plant Fitters. Strong hands-on experience is more important than formal qualifications. The Role You will be responsible for assembling, servicing and repairing specialist farm equipment used directly on farms, including: Hose reels Irrigation booms Water pumps General agricultural machinery The role is mainly workshop-based in Corby, with occasional travel across the UK to carry out servicing and breakdown support during peak seasons. This is a practical, varied role offering long-term stability and the opportunity to develop further skills within agricultural equipment maintenance.
