My client are a national blue chip civil engineering and construction contractor. They operate across multiple sectors including transport, energy, water and infrastructure. They are looking to onboard a project director to oversee projects in West Sussex and Hampshire. Project director responsibilities:
Responsibilities
 * Promote and actively demonstrate collaborative behaviours within the team and across the framework.
 * Develop and maintain a high performance culture across the team, delivering efficiencies and continuous improvement.
 * Establish and grow relationships with the client teams.
 * Actively champion well-being, safety, and environment performance and compliance throughout your team to create safety culture to ensure zero LTI and RIDDOR incidents.
 * Provide whole life oversight and accountability for the successful delivery of projects, throughout design, procurement, assembly, commissioning and handover.
 * Deliver commercial and financial performance in line with budget expectations.
 * Ensure compliance governance and client requirements.
 * Communicate extensively across all stakeholders.
Qualifications
 * HND/ HNC or degree in relevant construction/ engineering discipline.
 * NEC PM accreditation.
 * Senior leaders safety training.
 * Association of project management APMP.
 * Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
 * Proven experience in the leadership of complex projects/ programmes.
 * Excellent knowledge and experience of CDM regulations.
 * Solid commercial, financial and analytical skills.
 * Significant experience with contract delivering.
