We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This full-time role offers a temp-to-perm pathway and is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
Location: North Cambridge
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to pupils with ASC, helping them access the curriculum and engage in learning.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation through consistent and supportive strategies.
* Facilitate communication and social interaction, using appropriate tools and techniques.
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure a holistic approach to pupil development.
* Support pupils during transitions, both within the school day and across settings.
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
