We are seeking enthusiastic nursery practitioners to work in nurseries and early years settings across Huddersfield on a day-to-day or long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a variety of settings while maintaining a flexible work-life balance.
The Role:
* Provide high-quality care, learning, and play opportunities for children aged 0-5 years
* Support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity and learning
* Assist with daily routines, including feeding, changing, and nap times
* Encourage language, social, and motor skill development through creative play and activities
* Work collaboratively with permanent staff and parents to support each child's individual needs
* Maintain a high standard of safeguarding and follow nursery policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)
* Knowledge of EYFS Framework and child development. Understanding of child development and learning milestones
* Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
* A caring and patient approach to working with young children
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
