We are working with a leading interiors fit out & refurbishment contractor who deliver high-quality projects across the UK. Established in 2020, the business has grown rapidly into a trusted name in the industry, known for combining Tier 1 delivery standards with a friendly, agile SME culture.
Despite launching just before COVID-19, the company demonstrated exceptional resilience and has since scaled significantly – tripling in size and consistently securing repeat business and new frameworks. Their client base spans education, commercial, healthcare, transport, and specialist production environments.
Typical project values range from £500k – £5m (average c.£1.5m), with programmes generally running 16–18 weeks, and the team often delivering multiple live schemes concurrently.
With recent major framework wins and continued expansion, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support ongoing growth.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for delivering multiple live fit out and refurbishment projects simultaneously, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery from pre-start through to handover.
You will work closely with a young and ambitious leadership team, reporting into a Senior Project Manager, and play a key role in delivering complex and varied schemes across the UK.
Typical project sectors include:
* Education (universities, colleges, academies)
* Healthcare and public sector environments
* Commercial office fit out & refurbishment
* Light industrial and R&D facilities
Key Responsibilities
* Full lifecycle management of fit out and refurbishment projects
* Programme, cost, subcontractor, and site management
* Managing multiple live projects simultaneously (typically 2+)
* Acting as the main client-facing representative on site
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards
* Coordinating design, procurement, and delivery teams
* Driving programme performance and project profitability
What We’re Looking For
* 5–7 years’ experience in fit out / refurbishment project delivery
* Strong background with Tier 1 or leading main contractors (e.g. Overbury or similar)
* Experience independently running projects in the £500k–£5m range
* Proven ability to manage multiple live sites
* Strong client-facing communication and leadership skills
* Ambition to develop within a growing, high-performing business
* Ideally based within commuting distance of Leeds
