Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:45pm (term-time only)
Pay: £101.40 – £105 per day
Contract Type: Full academic year (potential to extend or become permanent)

This Learning Support Assistant role in Maidenhead could be the ideal opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a therapeutic SEN setting, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
About the Role:
You’ll be working at a highly regarded specialist school for children aged 4–16 with high-support autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and complex needs. The school fosters a creative, multi-sensory approach to learning, offering therapeutic interventions through art, music, drama, and play.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
1. Support children with a range of complex and high-support needs in both 1:1 and group settings.
2. Help deliver creative and sensory-based sessions that support communication, engagement, and emotional development.
3. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals in a nurturing, child-centred environment.
4. Assist with music and art-based activities such as singing, rhythm work, and painting to help students express themselves and build confidence.
