SALARY: £15,265 - £19,250 (£30,530 - £38,500 FTE)
About the Endeavour Programme
Our Endeavour programme creates a supportive and positive learning environment intended to develop study skills and raise attainment and self-confidence for learners. The programme supports learners towards City & Guilds qualifications through 7 week blocks of lessons; successful students can progress throughout the year from Entry Level through to Level 2. You will help them develop valuable life, communication, study and employability skills alongside English and maths qualifications.
The Endeavour team work with colleagues across CWA to provide learners with employability skills, personal development and help them on their path to further study or employment. This is a chance to make a real difference to young people who have had difficulties in their educational career.
Responsibilities
* Deliver and support 7 week blocks of lessons to help learners progress from Entry Level to Level 2.
* Support learners to develop study, life, communication and employability skills.
* Help learners achieve English and maths qualifications.
* Collaborate with colleagues across CWA to provide employability and personal development opportunities.
* Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment that supports students returning to education.
Qualifications and Notes
* Appointed salary point will depend on experience and teaching qualifications; positions above point 12 (£35,831 FTE) typically require a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
* Flexibility in work arrangements is encouraged, with job share and flexible working opportunities supported.
