Our client is looking for a motivated Finance Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations, from ledger management and payroll support to credit control and reporting.

Key Responsibilities of Finance Assistant:
* Raise sales invoices accurately and promptly, while managing billing enquiries professionally.
* Assist payroll colleagues in processing weekly payroll across all departments.
* Maintain purchase ledger records, ensuring all financial processing is accurate and timely.
* Assess customer credit applications, monitor payments, and follow up on overdue invoices.
* Produce and develop weekly and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders.
* Assist in the preparation and analysis of management accounts when required.
Essential:
* Confident with IT systems, including spreadsheets, word processing, and databases.
* Strong administrative skills and experience in maintaining detailed records.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
Desirable:
* Previous finance administration experience.
* Familiarity with Pegasus Opera 3 (Payroll and Accounts).
* Experience producing financial documentation using IT systems.
