About the Role
As Head Chef, you will be at the heart of kitchen operations, working closely with the front-of-house and management teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences aligned with group standards. Youll oversee all aspects of kitchen performance - balancing quality and quantity, managing food and labour costs, and ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
Oversee kitchen budgeting, cost control, and inventory management to optimise food GP and staffing levels.
Inspire and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
Uphold hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with current food safety legislation.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide seamless and memorable dining experiences.
Continuously improve kitchen processes, introducing efficiencies and creative menu enhancements.
What Were Looking For
Proven experience as a Head Chef, ideally in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end dining setting.
Solid understanding of Italian cuisine and a passion for quality, seasonal ingredients.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, support, and motivate diverse kitchen teams.
Expertise in kitchen operations, including cost management and food safety compliance.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
