Overview
Principal Recruitment Consultant - Engineering role on a 6-month contract (inside IR35) at a global technology leader shaping fibre-optic connectivity. You will develop next-generation automated test platforms to enable high-performance optical products to reach customers with quality and precision.

What will I be doing?
* Lead the development and integration of LabVIEW-based applications for advanced Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems used in manufacturing and product validation.
* Collaborate with in-house engineers and external suppliers to ensure test platforms are delivered on time, perform flawlessly, and scale with production.
* Analyse requirements, write and review technical documentation, maintain software repositories, and promote best practices in coding and test automation.
* Blend hands-on LabVIEW development with project oversight, supplier coordination, and mentorship of junior engineers.
Where will I be doing it?
Onsite in Cambridge, in a fast-moving, collaborative environment at the intersection of hardware, electronics, and software in optical switching and fibre-network technology.
