About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in our friendly primary school in Enfield. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in special educational needs support while making a real difference to children's educational journeys.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide dedicated support for pupils with special educational needs across various year groups
2. Assist with curriculum access and learning activities under teacher guidance
3. Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
4. Help implement individualised learning strategies and interventions
5. Work collaboratively with class teachers and SENCO
6. Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and achievements
7. Foster independence and confidence in learning
8. Support behavioural management strategies as needed
9. Adapt support methods to meet individual pupil needs
Essential Requirements
10. Genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with children
13. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
14. Reliable and punctual attendance
15. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS clearance (essential)

Working Pattern

29. Date rates from £95 up to £120 per day, depending on how many hours worked
