Procurement is a new function within the Business Services team, responsible for the delivery of best-in-class procurement to ensure that the firm delivers value and achieves optimal quality, pricing and service levels across its third-party supply chain.
Job Purpose
Following significant growth in recent years, a new Procurement function for the business has been established and an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager has arisen. As a Procurement Manager, you will be part of a growing Procurement Team reporting directly to the Head of Procurement.
The role will handle a broad variety of projects covering the client-facing Service Lines, IT, Business Operations, HR & Marketing.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end procurement process (including SRM) for projects and key contracts in collaboration with the business.
* Stakeholder engagement to support the development and delivery of category plans and projects.
* Delivery of the procurement strategy across the firm supported by category plans and supplier strategies as appropriate.
* Support and lead complex negotiations.
* Deliver competitive advantage for Mazars through cost savings, lifecycle value generation, demand management and innovation.
* Work closely with the sustainability team to manage our supply chain in line with our sustainability strategy
* Financial analysis and monthly reporting
* Respond to ad hoc requests from stakeholders
Skills, knowledge, and experience
* Bachelor's Degree or greater (or equivalent industry experience)
* CIPS certification preferred
* Experience working in a Professional Services environment.
* Experience in managing the end-to-end procurement process.
* Ability to analyse and manage contracts at all levels.
* Ability to identify issues through sound analysis and application of commercial acumen in all situations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
* Excellent organisational skills
* Flexible with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
