Blackpool Council is seeking an experienced Project Lead to drive the Adult Social Care Improvement Plan and deliver on CQC Local Authority Assurance recommendations. You will lead projects across Adult Services, working with internal teams and external partners to implement transformational change, ensure robust governance, and deliver timely outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, plan, and implement Adult Social Care projects and improvements.
Collaborate with partners across health, housing, voluntary, and private sectors.
Ensure projects meet statutory, legal, and governance requirements.
Produce reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management and committees.
Support cultural change and continuous improvement within Adult Services.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Degree in relevant discipline
Project management qualification (PRINCE2, MBA, MPA) or equivalent experience
Professional qualification in Health or Social Care (CQSW, CSS, DipSW, RGN, RMN)
Substantial experience managing projects and multi-agency relationships in Adult Services
