The Role
This is a hands-on technical leadership position where you’ll own and drive the electronics design function across new product development.
You’ll collaborate closely with mechanical and optical teams to bring cutting-edge lighting products from concept through to production — ensuring quality, performance, and compliance at every stage.
What you’ll be doing
* Lead the design and development of robust electronic systems for automotive lighting products
* Define and continuously improve electronic design standards and documentation
* Work cross-functionally to deliver fully integrated product solutions
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers and partners
* Ensure designs meet regulatory, performance, and reliability requirements
* Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
* Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative ideas into development
What they’re looking for
* Degree in Electronics Engineering (or related field)
* Strong experience in electronic design, including time in a senior or lead role
* Proven track record delivering products from concept to production
* Experience with PCB design for LED/lighting applications
* Understanding of EMC requirements (e.g. automotive compliance standards)
* Proficiency with electronic design tools (e.g. Altium or similar)
* Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for innovation
