We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager (Parental Cover) to join our London Covent Garden team, with an immediate start. This is a full‑time, fixed‑term role for approximately 6 months. It’s a great opportunity if you’re looking to step into a key leadership role in a customer‑focused environment.

The Assistant Store Manager should be able to work as part of a team and provide an exceptional shopping experience while having a genuine interest in our community and contributing to the team's overall performance and values.
Our Assistant Store Manager are responsible for excellent customer service, increasing brand knowledge, executing visual standards and driving performance goals set for our store in cooperation with the Store Manager.
What We Are Looking For
* Assist Store Management in the day to day operation of the store.
* Assist store manager in driving sales and KPIs to achieve store targets.
* Assist Store Management in maintaining high stockroom management standard.
* Display strong leadership skills by leading by example.
* Take responsibility for own actions whilst showcasing a positive attitude.
* Work closely with the management team to keep training fresh and relevant to the company’s values.
* Encourage transparency and open communication.
* Develop and maintain good product knowledge and provide excellent customer service in line with the company’s expectations.
* Have an understanding of current products, trends and collections and ensure customers are informed and aware.
* Build and maintain customer relationships – our customers are our community.
* Promote a team‑oriented environment that can have fun whilst remaining professional.
Are You the One?
* Prior sales experience in retail is a must.
* Sales experience with high‑end retail brands is an advantage.
* Strong selling techniques and excellent customer service skills.
* Passionate about fashion.
* Passionate about Axel Arigato products and brand is a plus.
* Self‑motivated, can work productively and take initiative.
* Works well with others and is a good team player.
* Great communication skills with a social personality.
* Have a humble approach and contribute to a good team spirit.
* Be open to new things and receptive to constant development.
* Willing to work up to any day of the week and available as per business needs.
