This role is to support a Man

Drivers licence required: Yes

Own vehicle needed: Yes

Employment status: employed

Hours per week: Two positions available: Position 1: 8 hour per week. Four Days a week and two of these days will be at the weekend (Monday - Sunday 7:30am - 9.30am) days can be confirmed at interview Position 2: 15 hours a week 3 weekday
evenings - 4pm -9pm days can be confirmed at interview

Hourly pay rate: £12.21

We're looking to recruit a caring and empathetic Support Worker to work in our home in Uckfield. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
This role involves supporting a 17-year-old autistic young man with associated learning difficulties and global delays. He uses an ACC device for communication, and your responsibilities will include aiding him with communication, independence skills, functional skills, occupational therapy for self-regulation, and personal care. Once fully trained, you will also assist him in engaging with the community and participating in enjoyable activities.

Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
