The role Craft creatively engaging, well-written copy that meets the brief, is appropriate for the target audience, and is delivered in a timely manner. Creative copywriters are expected to have at least a sound understanding of science and pharmaceutical marketing restrictions, but their focus will be on producing creative, effective, and memorable promotional concepts, copy and innovative ideas to help solve the client’s commercial problems across a range of needs and media. Key Responsibilities Produce high quality and versatile creative copywriting that is on brief and relevant to the audience and platform Contribute to the process of coming up with exciting, original, intelligent, and creative ideas Be involved in generation of creative briefs – be prepared to challenge and contribute Craft content for concepts, animations, websites, social media, naming projects, gamification, event theming, etc, with limited supervision from senior writers Improve strategic understanding, and work closely and collaboratively with strategists, scientific writers, accounts and other creatives to deliver rounded work Be confident ‘selling in’ work internally, talking colleagues through the rationale behind the writing/creative approach Address internal and external comments on your work intelligently and question any that seem inappropriate, inaccurate or unclear to senior members of the team (accounts/writing) Be an active member of cross-functional teams. Proactively driving work and seeking opportunities. Managing and challenging timelines to help us deliver excellent work in a timely manner. Have an entrepreneurial, proactive and collaborative mindset. Help to inspire, motivate and develop more junior members of the creative team.
