Workplace: ITV Manchester Media City + Hybrid - expectation is 1 day in the office per week.
The team..
In Group Finance, we support teams across the whole of ITV, helping them create content and products that millions of people interact with every single day. When you join us, you enter a fun working environment with opportunities to learn, grow, and make a real difference. Small enough that your impact’s felt in the business, but big enough that your impact reaches millions of people.
Our Finance Continuous Improvement team is involved in delivering key business change initiatives. Working closely with both our Finance Operations and Tech teams, our Global Process Owners (GPOs) ensure that our processes run efficiently and meet the requirements of our business.
The role..
With a major transformation roadmap ahead for Record-to-Report (RTR) we are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient RTR Process Specialist to join our Continuous Improvement team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support delivery of several critical projects. This role is a unique opportunity for an RTR expert to act as a "right hand" to the GPO during a period of significant system and structural change.
You will be at the heart of our most ambitious projects, including the next phases of our ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service) implementation and supporting the RTR team as they move into a new departmental structure, identifying and documenting new processes required to make the transition a success.
This is a fast-paced, project-heavy role where you will help design and embed the processes that will define the future of RTR at ITV.
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. ARCS Implementation (Phases 2 & 3): Support the GPO and ARCS project lead in embedding new reconciliation processes and ensuring the successful rollout of the ARCS tool across the wider business.
2. Intercompany: Support design and implementation of robust new processes for reconciling intercompany balances, supporting the resolution of long-standing complexities.
3. Corporate Simplification: Support the GPO in implementing Cross Validation Rules in our chart of accounts to enhance data integrity.
4. Automation & Efficiency: Drive an initiative to implement auto-posting for recurring journals, reducing manual effort and improving month-end speed.
5. Process Documentation: Maintain high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user guides for all new system modules and workflows.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops and collaborate with Finance Operations and IT to ensure project milestones are met.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
7. Proven expertise in RTR processes, including month-end close and reconciliations
8. Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion, specifically within the General Ledger.
9. Demonstrable experience in process improvement, including process mapping and implementing system-driven automation.
10. Strong project coordination skills, with experience managing multiple "moving parts" or workstreams simultaneously.
11. Workplace Flexibility: Ability to work from our Manchester Media City office at least 1 day per week.
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
12. Agility: The ability to pivot between different projects (ARCS, Leases, Journals, Corporate Simplification) and remain unfazed as priorities shift.
13. Problem Solving: A proactive mindset to identify "unidentified" process gaps during the team's structural transition.
14. Logical & Precise: You possess an analytical "if-this-then-that" mindset.
15. Communication: Confidence in translating technical system changes into simple, actionable steps for the wider Finance team.
16. Curiosity: A natural desire to understand the "why" behind our data and processes. You aren't afraid to challenge the status quo or explore new ways of working to drive better results.
