Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for education and a drive to shape the future of learning? We’re looking for a dynamic and visionary Head of Faculty to lead our English, Maths, Foundation and Community curriculum areas.
In this pivotal role, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership, driving excellence in teaching, learning, and the overall student experience. You’ll be responsible for leading a talented team of teaching and support staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education that meets the needs of diverse learners and local industry.
You’ll play a key role in curriculum development, student recruitment, and partnership building—bringing innovation, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvement. With a strong focus on performance, quality assurance, and resource management, you’ll help shape a faculty that is forward-thinking, inclusive, and impactful.
About the person
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree, teaching and management qualifications, and have a strong track record in the Further Education sector.
You’ll be someone who thrives on leading teams to success, with proven experience in managing performance, driving quality improvement, and embedding industry standards into teaching and learning. With a learner-focused approach, you’ll be confident in managing curriculum delivery, supporting diverse student needs, and building strong relationships across the Partnership and with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership for the English, Maths, Foundation and Community curriculum areas.
* Lead a team of teaching and support staff to deliver high-quality education and a positive student experience.
* Drive curriculum development, student recruitment, and partnership building with internal and external stakeholders.
* Focus on performance, quality assurance, resource management, and continuous improvement.
* Promote an inclusive, forward-thinking faculty that meets the needs of diverse learners and local industry.
