Role Overview
The appointee will be a key member of the Trust's Neurology Department, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality care to patients within the Trust and to contribute to the further development of the services. The appointee will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver Neurology outpatient services at King's Lynn and North Cambs Hospital and provide in-reach neurological advice to medical wards, surgical wards and Same Day Emergency Care.
Responsibilities
The appointed consultant will be expected to contribute to the ongoing service improvement programme, developing:
* Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT)
* Cost Improvement Programme (CIP)
* Implementing evidence-based new ways of working when necessary
We also encourage consultants to apply for a fellowship of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management, to which we are an affiliated member.
Admin and clerical staff may be required to act as loggists for a major incident.
Everyone within the Trust has or will shortly need to have a minimum level of skill for computer literacy for their day-to-day work as we become more digitally mature. Therefore all staff should be computer literate.
