About the Practice
* We are a friendly training practice with three partners, two salaried GPs, and a multidisciplinary team including a nurse associate, paramedic, first contact practitioners (FCPs), clinical pharmacist, and phlebotomist.
* We are a training practice and also support medical students from Warwick Medical School

Job responsibilities
Clinical Duties
* Provide nursing care including vaccinations, cervical screening, and chronic disease management.
* Collect and safely send laboratory specimens (urine, swabs, smears).
* Perform wound care, dressings, leg ulcer management, and suture removal.
* Deliver immunisations for all age groups, understanding contraindications and side effects.
* Provide travel vaccinations and related health advice.
* Maintain up-to-date resuscitation skills and keep current with all required training and updates.
* Monitor emergency drugs and ensure all medications and vaccines are within expiry dates.
* Maintain clean, safe, and well‑organised treatment and nursing areas.
Health Promotion
* Provide lifestyle advice on smoking, alcohol, diet, and exercise.
Chronic Disease Management
* Manage long‑term conditions (e.g. diabetes, asthma, hypertension, COPD, heart disease).
* Support seasonal campaigns (e.g. flu vaccinations), including flexible working where required.
* Identify safeguarding and health risks (e.g. substance misuse, domestic abuse, vulnerable patients) and refer appropriately.
Supplies & Equipment
* Maintain adequate stock levels and ensure equipment is safe and functional.
Administration
* Record all consultations and treatments accurately on clinical systems.
* Complete all required patient documentation.
* Attend and contribute to practice, clinical, and significant event meetings.

* Maintain ongoing professional development through training and study.
* Participate in appraisals and take responsibility for personal learning and performance.
