Love working with teens but not keen on lesson planning? Step into the classroom as a Cover Supervisor.
We’re working with a group of friendly and well-organised secondary schools looking for confident, calm and capable Cover Supervisors to join their day-to-day and short-term cover team this September.
Whether you’re an aspiring teacher or just enjoy leading a class with a bit of structure and support, this is a brilliant way to build experience in schools without the pressure of full teaching responsibilities.
What’s the job?
1. Delivering pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
2. Keeping students on task and managing classroom behaviour
3. Supporting the wider teaching team with admin or prep tasks
4. Acting as a positive and reliable presence in school life
What we’re looking for:
5. Confidence leading a class (experience in schools, coaching, youth work or tutoring all counts!)
6. Strong communication and behaviour management
7. Flexibility, reliability and a good sense of humour
8. A genuine interest in education and working with young people
