The Cloud Platform Engineering Manager is responsible for delivering the platform roadmap and architecture, including the implementation of tooling, processes and automation to support efficient platform delivery. You will lead, develop and manage a high-performing, collaborative Cloud Platform team, ensuring the reliability, scalability and performance of all customer-facing cloud services, providing clear technical direction, support and career development.

What you’ll bring to the role and MHR
7. Proven ability to lead and manage a team of Cloud Engineers
8. Skilled in working with senior management, architecture teams, and stakeholders to align cloud platform initiatives with broader organisational and technical goals.
9. Experience in identifying and resolving team challenges, implementing solutions that improve efficiency and productivity, and fostering a collaborative, learning-focused culture.
10. Strong background in administrating and engineering cloud platforms, with expertise in setting best practices for CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
11. Effective communicator with the ability to provide clear updates on infrastructure progress and challenges and manage vendor relationships for escalated support and change management.
12. Ability to collaborate with software engineering teams to understand and advise on infrastructure requirements that support scalable and secure solutions.
