Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join an SME in South Bristol. For the right person, the client is offering a competitive salary of up to £30,000.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be a key component in the Accounts Department, providing instrumental support.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Processing payroll on a weekly and monthly basis
* Invoice processing
* Credit control:chasing late payments and overseeing payment schedules
* Raising and issuing invoices
* Month end:reconciling aspects of the balance sheet
* Petty cash management and one off payments
* Other ad hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager
Person Specification:
* Purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll experience
* Good software skills including MS Excel
* Excellent communication skills
* Friendly and easygoing personality
