We’re looking for a really well rounded, senior level SEO specialist, someone comfortable working across both technical SEO and content led SEO. You’ll be confident using a range of SEO tools and monitoring, analysing and reporting will be a crucial part of your current role.
As well as this, you’ll also write copy and work closely with freelancers where you’ll provide briefs and proofread their submissions, before optimising and publishing the content.
It’s a varied role which will have the following areas of focus and responsibilities:
* SEO strategy and roadmaps – execution plus involvement in planning alongside the SEO Manager
* Organic search – visibility, traffic, conversions
* Reporting – recommendations and improvements to boost technical performance
* Technical audits – website health, crawlability, indexability
* Implementation of best practices – page speed, mobile usability, site architecture, data
* Content audits, GAP analysis, competitor comparison
* Keyword research and monitoring
* Copywriting, briefing other copywriters, proofreading
* Publishing and editing content on chosen CMS – sitemaps and redirects
* Incorporating AI search optimisation and automation
It’s a senior level role so we are looking for someone with a good amount of commercial experience and experience in all the aspects listed above. There are a number of different brands and products so we’re looking for someone used to working across multiple sites – it would suit someone from an agency background really well.
We want someone who is passionate about the industry and keeping up with the latest search trends. You’ll be interested in AI and how that can benefit search, and keen to implement it into your work. You’ll also be data driven, strong at interpreting data, understanding why keywords have dropped and able to spot opportunities. Any experience in website migrations from a content or technical perspective would be an added bonus too!
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, SEMrush, Search Console, Screaming Frog etc is a must – and you must have a good understanding of AI search engines, even if you’ve not had chance to put your research into practice – yet.
