Our team supports individuals who experience homelessness and are motivated to address their problematic alcohol and substance use issues. We are looking for someone to be part of a team that provides an efficient and effective cleaning. Your day will consist of: You will provide a cleaning service to our property and will be expected to carry out a range of tasks that include: Vacuum-clean carpeted areas & sweep and wash non-carpeted floors Dust and polish furniture Clean windows, windowsills, glass doors Disinfect and dust toilet areas including restocking of consumables Sort rubbish for recycling Clean and disinfect external bin stores; place/return wheelie bins on weekly basis for collection Clear litter and accumulated rubbish from internal and external areas Sweep car parks and internal courtyards and external staircases Clean communal kitchens & bathrooms Occasionally required to assist with supporting cleaning bedrooms ready for new Understanding of health and safety requirements and how to report them Pobl Benefits Part-time (16 hours), Permanent position Competitive salary of £24,242.40 FTE (£12.60 per hour) Shift pattern with flexible opportunities: 16 hours/week split across our schemes 26 days holiday entitlement (pro rata) plus Bank holidays, rising to 27 days after 1 years’ service or cash equivalent of 1 days’ annual leave Pension scheme Sick Pay, rising with length of service up to 6 months full pay after 4 years Enhanced DBS which we will pay for Colleague Referral Scheme (£250 per referral) Free counselling, coaching, wellbeing team, and OH service to all colleagues Savings Scheme Long Service Awards Training and progression opportunities Colleague Discount platform Blue Light Card Eligibility giving discounts at 15,000 brands Mileage Paid at 45p per mile Interviews are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 26 th November 2025.
