As Engineering Maintenance & Test Technician you will join a dynamic multi-skilled team that is committed to maximising equipment uptime and supporting Production needs with focus on teamwork and efficiency. Main Responsibilities: Maintenance to include routine & ADHOC as well as fault finding and diagnostics (mechanical and electrical) & supporting of Test House activities. Set up test house equipment and jigs both for stress screening and environmental screening processes. Support, diagnostics and repair of manufacturing equipment. Service & maintain complex electromechanical production equipment. Undertake fault finding and diagnostic tasks on complex electromechanical production equipment. Undertake fault finding and diagnostic tasks with electronic circuits and assemblies using schematic diagrams and other product documentation. Specify rework procedure for components/assemblies where necessary to repair faults. Liaise with both engineering and production on complex product issues or equipment repairs, escalating when necessary. Communicate status of ongoing tasks and issues with Maintenance, Engineering and Production management. Produce and/or maintain technical documentation controlling test, diagnostic and repair processes. Suggest improvements to increase efficiency of processes. Comply with EHS policies and applicable regulatory requirements. Always ensure good housekeeping to maintain a safe working environment To ensure test work is carried out in a timely manner to meet deadlines. To undertake any other duties and responsibilities, as required to maintain and/or improve the efficiency, quality and service of the Engineering team. Engagement with all departments within Spectrum Control as necessary to carry out the duties outlined above.
