Role Description
This is a full-time, Trainee Field Service Engineer role based out of our Head Office in Barnsley. The role will primarily be customer facing and involves providing technical support for printers and managed print solutions, performing installations, routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting issues. Travel will be required to customer sites with a company car issued. The trainee will assist in customer training, maintain service records, and ensure timely responses to service requests while developing technical expertise through on-the-job training.
Qualifications
* Technical aptitude and basic understanding of systems
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Have a good understanding of IT based software
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technologies
* Valid UK driver's license
* Basic IT skills, including understanding of software and network troubleshooting, are beneficial
* Previous experience in a technical or customer service role is advantageous but not required
