Key Responsibilities
* Produce accurate, high‑quality, and de‑burred machined components to exacting standards.
* Ensure all parts meet deadlines and production targets.
* Continuously review and improve machining methods, processes, and procedures.
* Maintain up‑to‑date records and transactions in the ERP system.
* Communicate effectively between shifts to ensure smooth workflow.
* Support quality assurance within the department and uphold inspection standards.
* Proactively participate in meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism during demanding and high‑pressure periods.
* Lead by example and uphold the company’s core values at all times.
* Maintain and develop skills in line with current and emerging industry standards.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Proven experience in CNC machining using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls ideally within a Formula 1, motorsport, or high‑precision engineering environment.
* Strong working knowledge of all machining processes (manual and CNC).
* Proficient in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings.
* Sound understanding of machining methods, tooling, and work‑holding solutions.
* Calm and confident under pressure, with excellent problem‑solving skills.
* Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to motivate others.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
* Strong commitment to Health & Safety practices.
* Enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships across departments.
* Flexible approach to working hours.
