JOB DESCRIPTION As a Senior Manager in the Tax & Finance Transformation and Technology team, you will lead the delivery and growth of technology-enabled transformation programmes across tax and finance functions. In tax accounting services at PwC, you will assist businesses in preparing and reviewing tax provisions, tax returns, and financial statements, confirming compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
As a Senior Manager in the Tax & Finance Transformation and Technology team, you will lead the delivery and growth of technology-enabled transformation programmes across tax and finance functions.
Organisations are facing increasing regulatory complexity, digital reporting requirements (e.g. e-invoicing, real-time reporting, Making Tax Digital), cost pressures, and heightened expectations for insight and control. In response, businesses are investing in ERP transformation, automation, AI-enabled process redesign, and operating model change to modernise their finance and tax functions.
This role sits at the intersection of tax, finance, digital transformation and technology. You will lead large-scale transformation engagements, shape client strategy, and drive innovative, technology-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, governance and data-driven decision-making.
You will work collaboratively across tax, consulting and technology teams to design and deliver complex transformation programmes, while contributing to the strategic growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leading large-scale tax, finance and digital transformation engagements from strategy through to implementation.
2. Owning senior client relationships (e.g. Head of Tax, Finance Director, CFO, Transformation Director).
3. Shaping transformation roadmaps across areas such as:ERP-enabled finance and tax transformationTax determination and reporting technologyTax automation (RPA, workflow, low-code, AI-enabled tools)Digital reporting and regulatory transformationManaged services and global tax services designData, analytics and reporting transformation
4. Overseeing programme governance, risk management, commercial performance and quality assurance.
5. Identifying and originating new opportunities within existing and prospective clients.
6. Leading proposal development, pricing discussions and go-to-market initiatives.
7. Mentoring and developing Managers and junior team members, building capability within the team.
· Contributing to thought leadership and market positioning across tax and finance transformation.
