Role Purpose
Responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, payroll, and compliance within a student-focused organisation. The role supports senior leadership with financial planning and ensures strong financial management practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts and support annual financial statements.
* Manage cash flow, reconciliations, and financial records.
* Support budget setting, forecasting, and financial planning.
* Provide financial advice to budget holders and senior management.
* Oversee financial operations, including invoicing, payments, and system management.
* Manage monthly payroll processes.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and financial control requirements, including statutory returns and VAT.
* Maintain risk controls, asset registers, and financial procedures.
* Line manage finance staff and promote effective financial practices across the organisation.
