About the Role
As a Sales Analyst at BYD UK, you will play a key role in supporting the rapid growth of one of the world’s leading electric vehicle brands in the UK market. You will provide data-driven insights to optimise sales performance, forecast demand, and identify opportunities to support BYD’s rapid growth in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
* Analyse sales performance across regions, dealerships, and product lines, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Develop and maintain regular sales reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior leadership.
* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting and planning processes.
* Monitor UK market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.
* Evaluate pricing strategies, incentives, and promotional campaigns to maximise revenue and market share.
* Provide actionable insights to improve dealer performance and customer acquisition.
* Work closely with marketing, finance, and product teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity across CRM and sales systems.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a sales analyst, business analyst, or similar data-focused role.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear insights.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
* Understanding of the UK automotive industry or manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
* High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
* Relevant professional certifications or postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
