English Teacher - Key Stage 3
Burnley, Lancashire Immediate Start | Until End of Summer Term Secondary School Via Veritas Education
Veritas Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher for an immediate start at a welcoming secondary school in Burnley. This is a full-time role teaching Key Stage 3 English, running until the end of the summer term.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to KS3 pupils
* Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting high standards of learning
* Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
* Have experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 (ECTs welcome to apply)
* Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Be adaptable, reliable, and passionate about English
* Be available to start immediately
