We are thrilled to be recruiting for a Highways Officer to join our client in Fareham. Our client is a Fast growing, award winning structural engineering and transport planning consultancy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Write, check and approve technical reports
* Good understanding or modelling packages and methodologies
* Support preparation of and approve technical drawings where appropriate
* Attendance as expert witness at appeal hearings and/or public inquiries
* Project manage schemes, including budget and time management
* Assist with training and mentoring members of staff
* Develop and inform Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and team strategies
* Represent the company at external meetings / events with xsngvjr Clients
About You: / Experience required:
* Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
* At least 7 years transport planning experience
* Extensive Transport Planning experience
* Experience in managing/training members of staff
* Experience of working with computer-based systems including Microsoft programmes
