About the Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated Strategy Manager to join our Strategy department at one of the most exciting times in Everton Football Club’s history. Reporting directly to the Head of Club Strategy, this role will be at the heart of shaping and driving the Club’s long‑term direction, where you will lead on a number of key initiatives, provide strategic insight and analysis and support senior stakeholders in delivering projects that align with the Club’s overall ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Projects
* Working closely with Department Leads on a range of ad‑hoc priority projects
* Drafting internal proposals and business models for pricing, new opportunities, or changes in product/market strategy
* Proactively identifying opportunities to drive revenue, efficiencies, and growth
* Providing strategic perspective and guidance at project working groups to ensure alignment with the Club’s overall strategy
Club Strategy
* Supporting the Head of Club Strategy in shaping the Club’s long‑term direction through the development of the overall strategy
* Partnering with Department Leads to create departmental strategies that contribute to the achievement of the Club’s strategic objectives
Performance Reporting
* Leading on developing clear, compelling narratives for presentations to senior stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and relevance for internal and external use
* Preparing and delivering regular reports for the CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
* Maintaining close communication with senior stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate, appropriate, and aligned with the Club’s strategic goals
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll have proven experience and an effective approach to problem solving that contributes to the overall performance of an organisation, as well as strong strategic/analytical expertise with an understanding of the unique dynamics of the sports industry (governance, fan engagement, commercial growth, etc.). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives working across multiple projects, and has the confidence to support and influence senior stakeholders.
Location & Working Arrangements
Between the Royal Liver Building, Liverpool, with the opportunity to work flexibly with our hybrid working approach. 35 hours per week. Closing date: Wednesday 15 October 2025.
