London Projects are a construction company specialising in super-prime, London residential refurbishment. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Contracts Manager to assist with the smooth running of our mechanical and plumbing departments. The Contracts Manager will be ultimately responsible for overall delivery of the project and monitoring of all mechanical staff and subcontractors on site ensuring highest consideration given to complying with current regulations and specific client requirements. Duties: Mentoring and managing all plumbing/mechanical staff on sites and monitoring performance levels including undertaking reviews of mechanical staff Manage quality control within all sites including regular site audits Carry out progress meetings on sites including liaising with architects, clients and Project Managers/Site Managers Attend design meetings alongside the Mechanical Designer Initial point of contact for any site issues Support Plumbing Supervisors and aid in co-ordination alongside Plumbing co-ordinator Ensure all Health and Safety documentation and RAMS are completed and be point of contact with the Health & Safety Manager and any external consultants Ensure that safety standards are understood, implemented and maintained by all team members and contractors Ensure all test packs are being completed Liaise with the Quantity Surveyor through weekly/bi-weekly meetings to monitor job progress Take ultimate responsibility for job delivery and carry out final inspections of all completed works Responsible for snagging with Head of Mechanical Alongside working across the Capital's finest residences, London Projects offers autonomy and genuine career progression within a loyal and hard-working team.
