Your new role Day-to-day purchasing of stock and non-stock items, liaising directly with suppliers, external companies and members of staff in resolving discrepancies or issues with orders. Provide a counter service at stores with responsibility for the recording of stock movements on the computerised systems. Receive and verify deliveries of stock and direct purchasing goods. Assist in regular stock checks and ensure the security of stock. Update the stock management system by booking in of goods on the computer. Undertake minor repair work such as painting, decorating, plumbing, carpentry and bricklaying, including the sourcing of materials and equipment. What you'll need to succeed The role involves travel between sites throughout the South Wales area and the successful candidate must be able to travel independently. Practical experience of Microsoft Office packages Must pass DBS check Must hold a UK driving licence and pass check. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a wide range of audiences What you'll get in return £13.65 per hour DBS check is paid for by the agency. 3 month temporary assignment with possible extension. Work vehicle provided if you are required to make deliveries to other sites.
