We are seeking an experienced LSA/TA to work in a mainstream secondary school. Responsibilities will include: • Supporting an SEND pupils on a 1:1 basis in the classroom • Providing targeted support outside of the classroom • Work on differentiated activities with groups of students • Liaise with the SENCO/Inclusion manager to deliver SEND provision • Developing social/emotional skills • Working with teachers to monitor progress of pupils • Accompanying pupils to relevant therapy sessions • preparing the classroom for lessons • helping children who need extra support to complete tasks • helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records • supporting teachers in managing class behaviour • supervising group activities • looking after children who are upset or have had accidents • clearing away materials and equipment after lessons • helping with outings and sports events • taking part in training • carrying out administrative tasks
