Job Summary:
Your role will be centered around understanding the business unit's processes and data/reporting needs, translating them into actionable data frameworks, and outputs (dashboard/reports) to facilitate insightful analysis for strategic decision-making within the business unit. Once these are in place, you will complement these outputs with analysis and commentary on the trends and potential implications thereof.
You will be responsible for analysing different performance metrics across the assigned business unit, producing meaningful reporting outputs that will allow for data driven insights and engagement. This includes providing data insights and commentary on trends and their potential implications for performance, problem-solving and planning. Additionally, you will present and explain data and associate insights in non-technical terms and engage with stakeholders at any level.
In this role, you will work with business unit stakeholders to design, spec and build data requirements and support the development of business dashboards in ThoughtSpot/PowerBI and Excel. You will also participate in efforts to design, build, and develop rapid proof-of-concept (PoC) data solutions and dashboards/reporting. Furthermore, you will analyse data needs across systems and processes utilised across OPS, coordinating or supporting new data/change requests.
You will produce bespoke queries/data extracts for stakeholders to enrich them with information in order to answer questions, address problems or make decisions. Lastly, you will proactively participate in all stages of continuous improvement initiatives as well as new business requirements / projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience in working with Data and Excel
* Ability to create and present recommendations, dashboards and reports
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel – utilising Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts)
* Experience utilising business systems and how they interact with each other and the users
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge and experience of Financial Systems Support
* Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Tableau etc.
* Experience of cloud data solutions
